William Cuthbert Jr.
April 12, 1935 - December 11, 2022
William Cuthbert Jr., lifelong resident of South Philadelphia, passed away on December 11, 2022 surrounded by his family at the age of 87.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Sarah (nee Cain), sister Sarah (nee Atkinson), and brother George.
William is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gloria (nee Rhoads), daughters Karen Lochel (Kevin) and Dawn Kohn, son William D. Cuthbert, and sisters Joan Hartman (Fred) and Barbara Smith.
Bill wholeheartedly loved his family, his church family at Christ Church South Philly, and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His pride and joy were his grandchildren Duke, Jessica (Bill), Jason (Jenn), Dana (Chris), Kaitlin (Dan) and his 11 great-grandchildren Cecilia, Joanna, Leah,
Bronson, Olivia, Luke, Caleb, Joshua, Ayla, Vayda, and Micah.
A celebration of life will be held on January 7, 2023 at 11am at Christ Church South Philly (229 Moore St.) for all who wish to celebrate his life and legacy.
