Olive Lillian Losch

1942-2026

Collings Lake NJ - Olive (Darlene) Losch, devoted Widow, loving Mother, Nanny and Great Grandmother passed away in her home on July 6, 2026, losing a battle to cancer at age 84. Darlene was born Olive Catling in Camden, NJ but was known by the nickname "Darlene "given by her doting father.

She married the love of her life Glenn Losch (deceased) and is survived by their three adult children Valerie Murphy (son in law Tom Murphy) of Collings Lake, NJ Darlene Gabriele (son in law Jim Gabriele) of Apollo Beach Florida, and son Jason Losch (Dawn) of Hernando, FL as well as ten grandchildren, Skylar and Brodie Murphy, Samantha Vivian (Tyler), Gianna Gabriele, Alexandra Criscillo (Nick), Dylan Gabriele, Brandon, Jacob, Jordan, Jeremy Losch and six great grandchildren Avelina, Venice, Nicholas, Vienna, Aidan and Elaina.

She was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Olive, sister Katherine and brothers Elmer, Art, Ralph Catling.

Darlene was a homemaker for her family with a great talent for crafting and decorating. Later in life she became a professional designer and owner of Designs by Darlene a Holiday Decor company. She was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Hallmark Holiday movies.

Darlene will be remembered most for her joy of hosting family holiday extravaganzas and creating gifts handcrafted of love for all who knew her.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Judes Research Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
