Nancy D. Norton

Nancy D. Norton, 61, of Pennsville, NJ passed away on October 1, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Andrew S. Cole Jr. and Mary (Young) Cole. Past president of the Penns Grove, Carneys Point and Oldmans Historical Society, Nancy was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was extremely loved by her daughter, sisters, nieces, nephews and her best friend Carol Mongiello and her cats, Princess and Bella.

Nancy was an avid gardner, antique collector and historian. She found great joy in the outdoors as well sharing the history of Salem County and Pedricktown, where she resided for 26 years.

Nancy is survived by her devoted daughter Angela Cole-Thurston (Matthew Delaney), beloved grandson Harrison Thurston, her sisters Andrea Lauzon (Rod), Loni Wylie (Roger) and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Jeffrey Norton and sister Cindy Difillippantonio.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Salem County Sportsman's Club, 273 US-40, Penns Grove, NJ 08069. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy's memory to Maddie and Friends Inc.,330 Harmersville-Pecks Corner Road, Mannington Township, NJ 08079.
