Maureen Tansey

Maureen Tansey (nee McGowan) of Gloucester City NJ, passed away on August 4, 2026.

Maureen was beloved wife of Robert E.Tansey and grandmother by marriage of Julian M. Kirk. She was beloved sister of Daniel McGowan and wife Carol, Sean McGowan and wife Patty, Brian McGowan, Lorraine McGowan, Joan Maurer and late husband Scott Maurer. She was daughter of the late Daniel and the late Mildred McGowan.

Maureen and Robert were married on April 10, 2004, and were together since September 1992. Maureen enjoyed fishing, going out to dinner, movies and taking care of her grandson Julian, and cooking.

She will be missed by all whoever knew her, and especially her husband Robert E. Tansey. Everyone please say a prayer for her and her family thank you.
