Mary "Beth" Yacovelli

June 27, 1951 – June 6, 2023

Mary Elizabeth Katherine Morrell Yacovelli fondly known as Beth peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. She was surrounded by her loved ones and earned her angel wings.

Beth was born in Vineland, NJ and spent most of her life as a resident of Newfield. She moved to Buena, NJ with her husband into their dream house that they lovingly renovated. Beth enjoyed sitting on her front porch or by the pool with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and wouldn't say no to a gin and tonic.

Beth was previously an active member of the Newfield Jayceette's and spent many years supporting her daughters and all their activities and never turned down a volunteer opportunity to help with school.  She loved to attend and support everything that her grandchildren were involved in, and if she couldn't be there in person, FaceTime would do.  She worked for 20 years as the Zoning and Planning Board Secretary for the Borough of Newfield and then moved into the same role with Deerfield Township.

Beth loved the beach, cooking and cheering for the Phillies. She always had a book with her and enjoyed watching HGTV and Chicago Wednesdays.

Beth is survived by her husband of 52 years Paul, daughters Elizabeth (John) Faircloth and Katie (Bob Miller) Wittkamp.  Grandchildren Tyler, Sean, Conner Faircloth; Andrew and Molly Wittkamp; sisters Pat (Gary) Marino and Martha (Michael Casazza) Wheeler; brother-in-law Anthony (Sherry) and Albert Yacovelli; nieces and nephews: Maryann and Gary (Nicole) Marino,Kyle (Donna) Wheeler, Nick, Kendra,and Stephen Yacovelli.

She was predeceased by her parents Norman and Agnes Morrell, in laws Albert and Helen Yacovelli, and brother-in-law David Yacovelli.

Services will be Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at St. Michael's Catholic Church 504 South West Ave, Minotola, NJ 08341.  Visitation will be at 10:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Newfield Public Library.
