Marie Elizabeth Darrer

Marie Elizabeth Darrer ( née Guidobaldi) of Pennsville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021 at the age of 58, following a months-long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Marie was born on February 2nd, 1963 to Ettore and Mary ( née Makin) Guidobaldi. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University in 1985. On March 16, 1986, she married Steven Darrer, with whom she raised a daughter, Hilary, and two sons, Joshua and Jeremy.

Marie had a passion for food and loved to cook delicious and elaborate meals for her family and relatives, especially for the holidays. A creative soul, she also excelled at writing, sewing, and crocheting, as well as playing the clarinet in her younger days. She had a deep lifelong love for animals, and particularly her family's two dogs, Othello and Ophelia. Known among her family and friends for her indomitable spirit, she will be remembered for her boundless strength and sharp wit as much as her compassion and kindness. Though her time with her loved ones was all too short, the memories of her exceptional presence will remain in our hearts always.

Marie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary, and her father, Ettore, as well as her brother, Steve. She is survived by her husband, Steven, her children Hilary, Joshua, and Jeremy, her sister, Karen, and her granddaughter, Autumn. Memories and condolences may be shared @ancscremation.com
