Margaret Elizabeth Rothmund

March 24, 1926 – November 4, 2023

Margaret Rothmund, 97 of Linwood, NJ passed away peacefully on 11/4/23 at home surrounded by her loving family and devoted live-in caregiver Florence.  Margaret was born on 3/24/1926 in Brooklyn, NY.

In 1946 she married John Rothmund in Flushing, NY. In 1959 they moved their family to Linwood. She was a member of Seaview Baptist Church and sang in their choir. She worked for 17 years at Sears and retired in 1988.  Margaret enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Green Thumb Garden Club. She was a wonderful baker, avid reader and lover of classical music.

She will be missed by her children Linda Erman (Mel), John F. Rothmund, Karen Broomall (Skip), six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Over the past 4 years she received amazing care from Trinity Homecare & Nursing Services LLC and more recently Angelic Health Hospice Services. Mom asks that you donate to the charity of your choice or make a donation to the Humane Society of Ocean City, NJ

Burial will be private.
