Lois Sweeney

June 27, 1939 - January 23, 2022

Sweeney, Lois Edna (nee Sheeler),of Berlin, went home to heaven on January 23, 2022, at the age of 82.

Lois was born on June 27th, 1939, in Camden, NJ to Bernard John Sheeler and Edna Mae Sheeler. She was one of five girls. She met the love of her life at 12 years old. They got married in 1955 and shared a love like no other. The amount of respect, dedication and admiration that she had for Chippy was so special. They created a beautiful life together with 5 boys.

Lois was a kind and caring person. She would give you the shirt off her back, always helped whenever she could, and she never gave up on anyone, she listened with her heart and soul, but would tell you like it was, in love. She was the best friend, one you could laugh with, have fun with, and tell your secrets to.  She had a great sense of humor, including a taste for inappropriate jokes.
Her grandchildren have fond memories of the extensive Easter egg hunts that she and Chippy would give them every year, especially the $1 filled eggs.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Charles H Sweeney Sr. (Chippy), her son John Patrick Sweeney, her parents, Bernard and Edna Sheeler, her sisters, Lorraine Mary, Betty Ann, Bernadette and Joan Lydia, and a great granddaughter Francesca Sweeney.
Lois is survived by her sons Charles Sweeney Jr. (Janis), Daniel Sweeney (Nancy), Robert Sweeney (Diane), and Albert Sweeney. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and her best friend of 76 years Peggy Warner.

Lois touched so many lives in every generation. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial Service will be held February 19th, 2022, at 11am at
