April 19, 1952 – January 29, 2026

John Hevesi, 73 of Mantua Township passed away on Jan. 29, 2026.

He was born in Budapest, Hungary, emigrated to the USA in 1957 along with His Parents and younger Sister where they settled into the Oak Valley section of Deptford. John was a 1970 Graduate of Deptford High School.

John had a lifelong enthusiasm for photography of military and general aviation, traveled extensively around the USA to photograph his favorite subjects, amassing a collection of thousands of photos to share and trade with many around the world with the same passion.

He is survived by His Brother, Robert, Sister Mary and Brother-in-Law, Bill ( Yingling ) and Nephews Nathaniel and James and their Families.
