Ira S. Pimm Jr.

Ira S. Pimm, Jr. died on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Collingswood Manor at the age of 91.
Ira S. Pimm, Jr. was born August 22, 1927 to Ira and Ethel Pimm.
He served in the Navy at the end of World War II (August 1945-1946).
He then attended College at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska where he earned a degree in Business Administration.
Ira married Emily Pimm on May 25, 1950 in Nebraska.
They returned to the East Coast, living for several years in Levittown PA, and later moved to Haddon Heights NJ.
Ira worked for the Corporation Guarantee & Trust Company in Philadelphia, PA. eventually becoming President of the company.
He was active in the United Methodist Church in Haddon Heights, serving on many committees. He especially enjoyed singing in the church choir. He also enjoyed watching any kind of sports on TV, gardening, and especially spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of many years, Emily & his 4 daughters, Shirley, Deborah, Shelley & Roberta (Ravencrow)
His funeral service will be held at the Collingswood Manor in Collingswood, NJ on Friday March 8 at 10:00 A.M.
