Florence M. Walker

October 23, 1943 – April 15, 2024

Florence M. Walker was born on October 23, 1943, in Norristown, Montogomery County, Pennsylvania. God called her from labor to rest on Sunday, April 15, 2024, at home after battling an illness. She was educated in the Norristown School System and retired from Rohm and Haas.

She leaves to mourn daughter Lillian (Anthony) Howell-Golphin of Spring City, PA.; Sister Betty Webb of Philadelphia, PA.; brother William (Minnie) White of Clarksville, Tennessee; two grandchildren Stephanie Waters of Sicklerville, NJ; Antoinette Howell-Golphin of Norristown, PA; Great-grandchild Kayla Rivera of Norristown, PA and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Melva P. Howell, father James Wright, sister Marion Lowry, sister Theresa Battaglia, and brother James H. Walker.

Don't think this is the end for me

Sing joyful praises to the skies

Because my soul has been set free and I've gone home to paradise.

In this state of heavenly peace

Where I now claim my life reward

Where tears and pain and sorrows cease

Her face to face beside my Lord.
