Eugene King

January 19, 1941 - August 27, 2021

Eugene "Butch" King of Mantua, NJ born January 19th, 1941 sadly passed away on August 27th, 2021 after fighting all the way to the end.

Butch is proceeded in death by his beloved parents Joseph King & Anne Kreno,  sisters Dorothy "Dot" Foley, Patsy King, Brother's Robert King, Donald King, Dennis King , step-daughter Kathy Thompson, and Niece Dina.

Butch is survived by his wife Claire Thompson, step-daughter Theresa Fabrico, Granddaughters Julie Fabrico (Sean), Gina Fabrico, and Crystal Thompson, Great-grandchildren Giavanna Mack, Angelina Mack,  and Jasper A. Fabrico II, Nieces Donna,Denita, Denise, Dorothy, Dineen, Nephew Bernard "Dukey", Great-Niece Georgia Emenicker, as well as many other loved family and longtime friends.

Before retirement Butch was a hard worker for BFI. In retirement he enjoyed his time in Flordia and spent his later years with his family in New Jersey . Butch better known to us as PopPop or Pop was an amazing grandfather to all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was always there , even in the end he wanted to come home to his family. Butch was known for his love of coffee , hats, playing the slot machines at the casino, scratch offs, long trips to the goodwill and habitat for humanity, but most of all his daily walks making friends along all of his travels.

The family would like to thank everyone for their Loving visits, calls, messages, prayers & gifts. You are all appreciated and Loved.
