Emily L. Pimm

July 28, 1929 - January 1, 2021

Emily L. Pimm died on January 1, 2021 at the United Methodist Communities in Collingswood NJ where she lived. She was 90 years old.Emily was born July 28, 1929 to Sophie and Edward Juranek.

She grew up on a farm in Clay Center Nebraska.Following high school she attended a business school in Lincoln Nebraska.Emily married Ira Pimm on May 25, 1950 in Nebraska.  They moved to east, raising their family in Levittown, Pennsylvania, and Haddon Heights New Jersey.

Emily worked as a crossing guard for the Haddon Heights school district. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, watching birds and the critters in the yard and reading. She was a good cook.  Emily was quiet and reserved, but was a good listener, and would help others behind the scenes, for example serving snacks at Bible school.

Emily was a long time member of First United Methodist Church in Haddon Heights NJ.  Her world centered around her family.

Survivors include her four daughters: Shirley Pimm, Deborah Pimm, Shelley Breece & Roberta (Ravencrow) Taylor.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira S. Pimm Jr
