Edith Root of Ocean City, NJ passed away May 8, 2010 at the Shore Memorial Hospital Somers Point, NJ. She was wife of the late George Root and worked as a private-duty nurse in the Chestnut Hill, Pa area. Edith leaves to carry on her legacy a beloved daughter Edith Little of Ocean City; four grandchildren, Wendy Schieke (Richard) of Bethesda, Md.;Frederick Little (Jennifer) of Somers Point; Karl Little of Wyndmoor, Pa; Barbara Worgan (Gregory) of Burlington, Vt; five great-grandchildren and several devoted nieces. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
