Dorothy Blanche (nee Callahan) Gilson, on May 1, 2011, of Haddonfield, formerly of Haddon Heights. Age 93. Beloved wife of the late Paul J. Gilson. Devoted mother of Paul (Karen), David (Diana), and Donald (Lisa), and loving grandmother of Hillary and Jennifer, Steven, Jonathan, Jacob, Nathan and Arianna, and great grandmother of Liam. Dear sister of William Callahan and the late Fred Callahan, niece Kim Covey, nephews Bill, Todd, and Craig Callahan. Dorothy graduated from Haddon Heights High School in 1935, worked for the Campbell Soup Company, and retired from the Haddon Heights School District in 1988. She was active in the community as a Cub Scout leader and in the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a devoted member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Haddon Heights for over 50 years. A Memorial Service will be held at 10am on Saturday, May 21, at The First Presbyterian Church, 7th and Green Streets, Haddon Heights, NJ. Private interment at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
