On July 12,2012 David Albanese age 49 of Gloucester City, NJ ( formally of Bellmawr, NJ) was suddenly taken home to be with the Lord after a short but courageous battle against cancer. He was surrounded by his family and friends at home. Loving son of the late Matthew and Angeline Albanese. A Beloved husband of 8 years to Doris E Harker, the love of his life, his best friend and soul mate for 12 years who sadly and lovingly misses him. Also survived by his brothers Anthony, Matthew, Dominic and the late Albert Albanese (Jenny). Loving stepfather of Tom Springer Jr. Wife Jenn of Audubon, NJ, Tim Springer and Yaz of Gloucester City NJ, Tiffany Springer and Kermy of Wildwood NJ, Andy Springer of Baunhdder,Germany ranking Army specialist. He enjoyed spending time with his eight grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as Pop-Pop, grandpa. Angle,Damien,Angelina,Nevaeh,Brook,Ellie,Kermy and Serenitie. He also sadly left behind a mother and father in-law James and Doris Green who loved and cherished him as their own son. Also a Beloved brother in-law Samuel Bennett Harker the third and wife Barbara and Thomas Craig Harker and Chrissy. And fondly remembered by his favorite Aunt Rita who was very loved and special to him. Also missed by all his nieces, nephews,aunts,uncles and friends. Dave was also a devoted forklift driver for Mark Baker Core Supply. He was a workaholic who loved to provide for his family. Dave also enjoyed spending time with his wife, stepson Tim and Adrianna watching the Phillies,Eagles,Flyers and wrestling. He also enjoyed watching Sci-Fi and tru tv. He loved going to the ocean, fishing and crabbing with his brother in-law Sam. He was fascinated with finding problems with his car every weekend even if their were no problems just so he didn't have to take his wife to Walmart every weekend. Relatives,friends and co-workers are invited to attend his memorial service which will be held Monday the 16th at 7:00 PM at John 3:16 Assembly of God. Located at 1114 Tanyard Rd. Deptford NJ. Services will be presented by Pastor Joe Behn, whom Dave greatly respected and adored not only as a pastor but as a friend.
