Daniel Hart Carmelo
November 5, 2000 – April 24, 2026
Daniel Hart Carmelo — lovingly known as Danny — age 25, of Mount Royal, NJ, left this world on April 24, 2026. Born on November 5, 2000 at Pottstown Memorial Hospital in Pottstown, PA, Danny filled every year of his life with energy, laughter, and a spirit that drew people in.
A proud graduate of Kingsway Regional High School's Class of 2019, Danny played for the Dragons football team, where he built friendships and memories that stayed with him long after the final whistle. He later worked with Pro Level Finishing Inc., supporting the family flooring business with the same dedication and heart he brought to everything he touched.
Beloved Son of Parents, Ann and Bill Daley; his brother Logan; his sisters Alisann and Emma Daley; and Mary Carmelo. He is also survived by his paternal siblings Gabriella Breidor, John, Anthony, and Joshua Carmelo; and his maternal grandparents Margaret and John Camp. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Frances Ann and Michael Daley Sr.; Also lovingly remembered by his uncle's Raymond Beecroft, Robert and Michael Daley; and his aunt Marie Daley. He is also reunited with his Uncle Mark Daley and Aunt Barb Beecroft.
Danny had a way of making life feel lighter. He lived with a happy-go-lucky spirit, always ready to laugh, explore, and make memories. He adored playing with his younger siblings, and he loved traveling, music, sports, and spending time with the people who mattered most to him. It wasn't unusual for him to hop on a plane just to meet up with friends or catch a concert — he chased joy wherever it appeared.
One of Danny's most endearing traits was the love he had for his ball python, Medusa. She wasn't just a pet to him — she was family. He often joked with his mom, calling Medusa her "grandbaby," a small glimpse into the humor and warmth that made Danny unforgettable.
Danny also carried a deep sense of community. He was an ordained minister and proudly officiated a wedding for a neighbor, a moment that reflected his generosity and the trust others placed in him.
To honor Danny's vibrant life, the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on May 16th, 2026, at the Westville Power Boat Association, 701 Edgewater Ave, Westville, NJ 08093, from 3–7 PM. This will be a casual gathering — please wear your favorite band or sports shirt, two of Danny's greatest passions. All are welcome to come share memories, stories, and photos. A buffet‑style lunch will be served, with a cash bar available on the lower level.
