Claire A. Thompson
February 18, 1941 - June 13, 2024
Claire A Thompson, lovingly known as "Claire bear" to her friends and family, passed away on June 13, 2024, at the age of 83. She was born on February 18, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA. She most recently resided in Mantua Township, NJ.
Claire had a simple yet cherished life, finding joy in the small things. Some of her favorite hobbies included clipping coupons and enjoying a warm plate of pasta or a slice of rum cake. She had a deep appreciation for music, particularly Elvis, and loved watching General Hospital, a show that brought her daily entertainment.
One interesting fact about Claire was her love for Snow White, which always brought a smile to her face. However, nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her great-grandchildren. She treasured their company and cherished the moments they shared together.
Naples, FL, held a special place in Claire's heart, as it was her favorite destination in the world. The memories she made there will forever be remembered fondly. Professionally, Claire worked as a billing clerk, demonstrating her dedication and commitment to her career. She was admired by her colleagues for her hard work and attention to detail.
Claire was preceded in death by her parents Vincent James Vendetti and Ruth Pressler, first husband Benny Thompson, sister Kitty Ney, brother John Vendy , 2nd husband Eugene "Butch" King and youngest daughter Kathryn "Kathy" Thompson. She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Theresa Fabrico (Thompson), as well as her grandchildren Julie Cook (Sean cook), Gina Fabrico, and Crystal Thompson, her great-grandchildren Giavanna Mack, Angel Mack, and Jasper Fabrico II, as well as many other family and friends.
Claire A Thompson will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her warm smile, cheerful spirit and love for her family will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace.
Memorial luncheon information will be posted at a later date.
