Obituary

The world lost a beautiful soul Wednesday September 2, 2020 and heaven gained one.  Mom passed peacefully with her family at her side.

Born in Trenton NJ, May 23, 1928.  Mom resided in Fieldsboro NJ, Bordentown Twp NJ, Crossville TN, Mount Laurel NJ, and most recently Bordentown City NJ.  She shared life with her first love Jim Bullecks who passed in 2000.  Mom is survived by three sons and their wives, Jim & Janet of Lakewood CO, Bill & Nancy of Bordentown NJ, and Dave & Colleen of Hartford ME.  Mom's grandkids and great grands were the joy of her life!  Mike & Sloane (Rose, Kathyrn, Jensen, Ellie, Larsen), Carrie & Dino (twins Grace& Emma) Tracy (who taught Mommom a whole new vocabulary and took her to many fun places, which I told Mom I would not tell) Brian & Haley (Logan) and Andy & Keith

Mom loved all of nature.  She spent many hours painting with oil/water, landscape scenes and especially birds.  Gardening and making her home beautiful and comfortable was her enjoyment.  She loved to cook and have family over whenever she could!  Fondly known as the Pie Lady….her chocolate pies were the favorite!  Of all her specialties the best was her signature cheesecake….. Mom always said "Food is Love"

Mom leaves many friends and was an active member of Bordentown Seniors for many years. Mom is smiling now as she has joined her lifelong friend Caroline in heaven.  Special thanks to Jolan & Jane and Serenity Hospice for their loving care.

Mom worked 35 years for Bell Telephone as an operator before retiring.  Dad and Mom spent 14 wonderful years in Tennessee before returning to New Jersey.  They hosted many fun times in their beautiful country home that included cows, ducks, turtles, cats, dogs, a huge garden, pond and stream.  Wherever Mom was there was joy and love.  She drew people to her with her kindness and laughter.

We will miss her.  In Charlotte's memory, perform a kind act and look at the beauty around you every day!

Burial after cremation will be held at the family's convenience at NJ Veterans Cemetery where she will join her husband Jim.
