Charles I. Tighe

November 23, 1946 – August 23, 2023

Charles I Tighe "Charlie", died peacefully Wednesday August 23, 2023, at his home in Mt Laurel, NJ with his wife, Lynn of 30 years, by his side.

He was born in Mt. Holy NJ, November 23, 1946, son of the late Charles & Deborah Tighe.

Growing up in NJ, Charlie loved sports. He excelled in baseball and football in his youth and in college had an opportunity to try out with the NY Yankees. He was also an avid scuba diver and loved playing golf looking for the 25 foot "gimme" putt. He packed 100 years of life into his 76 years as he enjoyed visiting many places including living in the Bahamas and enjoyed spending time with friends who became family. He is now telling everyone to "get off of my cloud".  I'm waiting for Mick and Keith.

He received his JD in 1971 from Villanova Law School.  Over the years he started his own business and became a successful entrepreneur, retiring in 2018.

Charles leaves to mourn his passing a wife Lynn, 3 daughters: Jennifer Denison ( Daryl); Amy Tighe ( Jerry Kindall); Elizabeth Georgiou; 2 beautiful grandchildren that he adored and always looked forward to spending time together, Lily & Alex Denison and a sister Pam Mandeville ( John dec.)

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
