Charles J. Everly

June 5, 1942 - January 25, 2021

Charles J. Everly, 78, Millville, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 25, 2021 of health complications. He is survived by two sisters, Kathleen Ryan, and Nancy Bard .Charles was born in Millville, NJ. He  attended school in the  Millville,  NJ school system and was then employed with Wheaton's of Millville.  He then joined the Navy and was involved in the helicopter training and rescue school of Pensacola, FL. During his tour of duty, he married Helen P. Garton, of Vineland, NJ, whom he was married to for 54 years before she passed.

Charles was a site Construction Manager of Whitemarsh Estates and several South Jersey developments. He had a true talent for construction design and building.  He later went into a personal business of his own, repairing gasoline pumps,  supplying such equipment under the name of Quality Nozzle Company.

Charles and his wife Helen, were active members of Jehovah's Witnesses in the Millville Congregation for many years.

They both enjoyed watching football and were Philly sports enthusiasts.  They enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends at "The Cabin".  Charles was Captain of a charter boat, called the "Miss Kitty" out of Fortescue, NJ,  with his father for many years.

Charles was special to many people and was know for his stories and entertaining friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all.
