In Loving Memory of Catherine Rita Obert

April 20, 1931 – July 6, 2026

With profound love and sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Catherine Rita Obert, who passed away at home on July 6, 2026, at the age of 95.

Catherine lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the heart of her home—a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, proud great-grandmother, treasured great-great-grandmother, beloved sister, and loyal friend. Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and quiet strength left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Warren Obert II, the love of her life. Together they shared a lifetime of cherished memories, from bowling leagues and exciting trips to casinos to unforgettable vacations in Las Vegas. Their love was one of partnership, laughter, and enduring commitment, and we find comfort in knowing they are together once again.

Catherine found happiness in life's simple pleasures—time spent with family, sharing stories, celebrating milestones, and creating memories that will be treasured forever. Her warm smile, comforting presence, and unconditional love made everyone around her feel welcome and cared for.

She leaves behind her loving sons, David Obert and Warren Obert III; her cherished granddaughter, Jennifer Heisley; her beloved great-granddaughter, Ashley Houghkirk; her adored great-great-grandchildren; her loving sisters; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her love and kindness.

Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the gift of having Catherine in our lives. Her legacy is one of compassion, resilience, generosity, and unconditional love. She taught us that family is life's greatest treasure, and her memory will continue to guide and inspire us for generations to come.

In accordance with Catherine's wishes, no funeral or memorial services will be held. Her family invites those who knew and loved her to honor her memory in their own way—with an act of kindness, a shared story, or simply by holding their loved ones a little closer.
