Catherine A. Bonnert born March 29, 1948 in Dubuque, Iowa passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 29, 2020 with her daughter by her side after years of battling multiple cancers. She was 72 years old.

Catherine grew up in Iowa and traveled cross country as a young woman to California and then made her way to Philadelphia, Pa where she married William Aberle and had a daughter named Cecilia. She remarried Arthur Bonnert in Conshohocken, PA. They later adopted a boy named Chuckie whom has Cerebral Palsy. His disability never got in the way of how his face would light up around his mom and dad. He brought much joy and laughter to them both.

Catherine was an extremely thoughtful person with a kind heart that loved her family very much. She was very forgiving, generous and selfless with a kind soul.

She spent most of her loved career as a LPN and caregiver to the elderly, physically and mentally challenged. Catherine and husband Arthur served as Fire Police for the Limerick, Pa Fire Department.

Along with a love of animals Catherine was an avid reader with mysteries being a big favorite. She enjoyed old movies, cooking, baking, crocheting, trips with her senior friends and had quite a green thumb.

Many loved and will miss her funny stories, jokes and "one liners" that brought a smile and a chuckle to all.

Catherine leaves behind her daughter Cecilia, son Chuckie and grandson Matthew along with other family members and friends many whom called her "mom".
A small private family service will be held in Limerick, Pa at a later date.
