Carol Lee Cane

April 3, 1952 – November 23, 2022

Carol Lee Cane, age 70, of Bellmawr, NJ passed away November 23, 2022 around 8pm. She was born a twin alongside her sister Diane in Mt Holly, NJ at Burlington County Memorial.

After graduating from Merchantville High School, Carol married her husband Martin Thomas Cane on June 10, 1972. The couple spent 15 years in Pennsauken, NJ before adopting a six-month-old boy from South Korea and moving to Bellmawr, NJ. Carol spent most of her adult life working as an office manager at The Original Canal's Liquor Mart in Pennsauken, NJ.  About 5 years ago she retired from that position and began spending a quiet life at home.

After falling and breaking her leg in August of this year, Carol was in-and-out of Cooper University Hospital. Unfortunately, her third visit ended up being her last as she was unable to be resuscitated the night before Thanksgiving.

Her husband and son, both named Marty, invite family and friends to a memorial service on December 19 ^th at Laurel Springs Baptist Church located at 35 Madison Ave., Laurel Springs, NJ 08021. Service will begin around 1:oo pm followed by a luncheon at the same location.
