Bernice Palladino

January 5, 1953 - May 31, 2026

Bernice Palladino (née Pawlak) passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 31, 2026, at the age of 73. She was born on January 5, 1953, in her parents' home in Camden, New Jersey, to Eugene and Anna Marie Pawlak (née Danowski).

Bernice graduated from Rowan University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She had an extraordinary mind for numbers: phone numbers, dates, figures of every kind seemed to live permanently in her memory, ready to be called up at a moment's notice. It was one of the many things that made her unforgettable.

On October 13, 1973, she married her childhood sweetheart, Gary Palladino. Together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and an open door for anyone lucky enough to walk through it. Bernice loved hosting birthdays and holidays, and anyone who spent time in her company knew what a joy she was to be around. She was among the warmest, kindest, and most generous people her family and friends had ever known, and she inspired everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gary; her children, Deanna, Paul (and his wife Samantha), and Vinny (and his wife Heather); her grandchildren, Vanessa, Vivian, Zane (and his wife Lauren), Jordan (and his wife Chloe), and Jessica; her great-grandchildren, Theo, Winona, and Piper; her sisters Carol Ann, Patricia Jean, and Jean Marie; and her brother Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Anna Marie Pawlak.

Bernice will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know and love her.
