Bernard (Ben or Benny) James Blum Jr, 64 of Woodstown passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020. He was born July 30, 1956 in Salem to Bernard J. Blum Sr. (August 8, 1989) & Donna J. Fricke Blum (February 28, 2017).

Benny married Barbara J. Hignett-Walker (June 9, 2016) and they raised her children as their own. They welcomed a granddaughter into their home and cared for her like a daughter.

Benny leaves behind his fiance Jude Holland of Florida, Barbara's children and grandchildren Terri Walker, Breanna Walker and granddaughters Madison Powell and Sarah Walker. He also leaves three sisters; Bernadine J. Bevis (John), her sons Mike Bevis (Jane) and Tim Bevis (September 16, 2006), Sherri L. Hinchman (Don Sr.), her children Don Jr (Heather) and Jennifer Hart (Mike) and Jean M. McLeod (Jay) her daughters Kara and Kasie and many great nieces and nephews.

Ben enjoyed fishing, and boating. Ben loved the Christmas season and often dressed as Santa Clause for the children. A private family service will be held in the spring when Benny's ashes can be cast to sea as was his request
