Barbara Beecroft
April 24, 1984 – October 17, 2022
On Monday, October 17, 2022, Barbara Beecroft, loving daughter, sister and aunt, passed away at the age of 38.
Barb was born April 24, 1984 at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Camden NJ. She was raised in National Park NJ where she still resided. Barbara attended National Park Elementary School and Gateway Regional High School graduating class of 2002.
Barb worked at Rita's Water Ice and Shoprite while in high school. After graduation she worked in town at Carla's Corner and then Camps Landscaping. In 2012 she began working at Swemco in Moorestown where she quickly excelled and became lead of the shipping/receiving department. She decided to pursue other interests and resigned her position in 2019.
Barb loved to fish and spent many days at the river and lakes when she was not out for some salt water bites. She had a rod and gear in her car at all times and would get super excited with every catch she made, large or small didn't matter.
She had a very outgoing and bubbly personality that would draw people to her. She had an infectious laugh that you couldn't help but to laugh with her. Barb was so easy to talk with. She had an extra chair by her desk at work that many coworkers would sit and talk for a few minutes about what was going on in their day. She was so kind and understanding, willing to help anyone in need.
Barb was glued to her phone, using face book to share posts that were quite comical and would make you laugh. She really knew how to use that camera phone and was considered the family photographer. Other than family she would take pictures of anything that she came across that peaked her interest from bugs, plants, sunsets, wildlife or even a flattened frog and would say "hey Ma look at this, isn't it cool"
She was a Big Philly sports fan. Her best moments were watching Phillies win World Series in 2008 and Eagles win the super bowl in 2018. She attended the celebration parades where the energy of the city was very exciting.
Barb had a passion for doing her nails. She would watch YouTube videos for hours and practice different designs and techniques until she became really good at it.
Barb leaves behind grieving Parents Margaret and John Camp, Jim MacCrone Loving Dad to Barb since she was a young girl, brother and fishing buddy Raymond Beecroft, loving sister and friend Ann Daley who she shared in the everyday antics of Ann's kids and loved her daily updates and photos, brother-in-law Bill Daley, 3 nieces Mary Carmelo, Allie Daley, Emma Daley, 2 nephews Daniel Carmelo and Logan Daley. Barb loved her Nieces and Nephews like they were her own. She enjoyed spending time and spoiling them. She was pet mom to Ginger a lab beagle mix. Barb walked her every day or would take her down to the river for a dip. She also leaves an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in Death by her grandmother Theresa Norris and Uncles.
There will be a small private service for family only. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Gloucester County Animal Shelter.
